An award winning Performing Arts group under the creative direction of Executive Producer, Herb Thomas; Musical Director and Song Writer/Arranger, Clifton Beasley; Business/Group Manager/Booking Agent, Sharon Chalklett. The group continues to push the envelope in all that they do; whether it’s their special brand of music or the venues that they play, they bring their “Inspirational Groove” to all who will listen. Their repertoire runs the gamut of Amazing Grace to Pink Floyd’s, Another Brick in the Wall. (i.e., I Can See Clearly Now, Love Train, Rockin' in Jerusalem).

The group ranges in age from eighteen to retirement; and they all love to sing. You will find teachers, medical professionals, laborers and students who have committed their time to share their Inspirational Groove.

The Warriors took the non-traditional route to become one of the most dynamic groups around. Although many of the members started in church, the Prayer Warriors started their mission in nursing homes and coffee houses throughout the greater Cleveland area. They continue to be a favorite at festivals, fairs and non-traditional venues.

The Prayer Warriors, are in high demand to perform as backup for many artists. They have worked with Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul and Mary), Diana Ross, Foreigner and the Colin Dussault Blues Project. They also feature the Thunder Band which consists of Clifton Beasley on keyboards, Rod Reisman on drums and Herb Thomas on percussions. The Prayer Warriors consists of a 20 member group, but also boasts of an ensemble group known as Prayer Warriors Lite.

As well, they have performed in productions of Savior, Prayer Warriors, Awakening of a Dream and Salute to Teachers for three years consecutively. Conservatively speaking, the Prayer Warriors is one of the most multitalented groups to come out the Cleveland area.
